ABOUT
David (Davo) Liver is a French-Italian artist and author who exhibits and performs globally, worked in theatres and intervenes in political institutions such as the Council of Europe. In 2024 he co-funded with Michael Kaethler The Experimental Observatory on Artistic Freedom (OoAF). His collaborative based work led him to collaborate with Jimmie Durham, Kenneth Goldsmith, Ewa Majewska, Aliah Rosenthal, Ai Weiwei and others. He has been published in various magazines, books and art chapbooks. Liver directs Voice Over Issues, an online political review, and is a member of the international collective E IL TOPO.
Liver is currently writing and directing the documentary film “TULI TULI TULI, 1001 ways to be joyfully revolted,” an off beat doc about his hero, counterculture icon, poet, rock star and media activist Tuli Kupferberg.
He is also in a two pieces band called Lucky Go Happy
